The Intentions are printed on sustainable bamboo plywood for easy hanging in any home or office and on cotton burnout shirts for cozy lazy days when you just want to feel good. And that is only the beginning.

A great deal of care and thought is put into selecting lasting and durable materials and developing simple phrases that stick in your mind.

The founder
As a child company founder Jae Ellard loved making word art, clipping words and phrases from newspapers and magazines to create collages that by college grew to cover entire walls. Not surprisingly, Jae pursued a career heavily rooted in writing earning a bachelors and masters in the field of communication. Her walls of “Word Art” followed her into corporate America where for over 15 years she captured inspirational and powerful things people said in meetings and posted them on her office walls sometimes creating office competitions to make it “on the wall.” In 2009 it was a natural progression for Jae to move the words out of her office and into your life by creating Simple Intentions with the goal to make a small positive difference one word at a time.
